The Slate

From February 2024 to May 2026, I was a Staff Contributor for the Shippensburg University Newspaper, the Slate. As a staff contributor, I researched, reported, and wrote content for the Sports, Arts and Entertainment, News, and Ship Life sections in a publication-driven environment. I applied journalistic storytelling, audience awareness, research, and editing skills to develop engaging written content. Additionally, I produced original photography to provide visual depth and enhance journalistic narratives. A few of my favorite articles are linked below!
